Content: The Roswell Lady Coyotes and the Goddard Lady Rockets varsity soccer teams played to a 1-1 tie on Saturday at the Cielo Grande Soccer Complex. It was the last game of the season series between the two rivals and also the senior night for the Lady Coyotes.

Both teams have faced some tough competition in New Mexico in their recent games. The Lady Coyotes have been on the road for more than a month and have not won any of their last five games. Their only non-loss result was a tie against Lovington on Sept. 19. Some of their opponents in September included Santa Teresa, Los Lunas, Alamogordo and Organ Mountain, who won the Alien City Soccer Tournament in August.
