Montrezl Harrell, the Philadelphia 76ers’ reserve center, underwent surgery on his right knee and will be out for the rest of the season, ESPN’s Tim Bontemps reported. Harrell injured his knee in the offseason, tearing his ACL and his medial meniscus.
Harrell signed a one-year, $2.9 million contract with the 76ers this offseason after opting out of his previous deal. He contributed 5.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 57 games for the 76ers last season.
